BBP Suffolk Zone Honors Two Fred Keating
The Suffolk Zone chapter of the NY State Association for Health, Phys Ed., Recreation, and Dance honors one young man and one young lady in each district each year, providing they meet the award criteria. Tim Mullins, the BBP Athletic Director, was pleased to announce that this year’s winners were Kerrigan Miller and Brandon Croteau, seniors at the high school.
In order to win the award, the students would have to meet the following criteria:
Physical Education Achievement: An “A” average or 90% average in PE class;
Scholastically Sound: A GPA of 3.0 or better;
Outstanding Character: The student contributes to positive outcomes in the PE class and in the school; the student is cooperative, poised, honest, self-confident, attentive, industrious, and enthusiastic;
A leader in PE, as well as a school-wide leader: The student is active, an officer, and/or leader of an organization, team, or club. S/he is considered a role model.
“Both Miller and Croteau meet those criteria, and then some. They should be proud of their accomplishments,” said Mullins. Concratulations!
